Can I get a free DiRT 3 VIP Pass?

I bought a preowned copy of DiRT 3 from Game. To access the online features you need a VIP code, but the previous owner obviously used the code included inside the box. Is it possible to get a free one because I did buy the game.. or will I have to purchase a new one for the stupid price of �7?
