Why does it say I am VIP but then it says I am not on IMVU?

Ok so I am a member on IMVU. I brought VIP for 10$ on the Prepaid card and then I got 5,000 credits and then I got on a chat room and then it says I am not VIP. But when I go to my profile and my messages it says I am VIP. Why does it say that? Please give me a answer!
