Are the inventions in the klutz book of brilliantly ridiculous inventions real?

I was wondering if the inventions in the klutz book of brilliantly ridiculous inventions were real because one of the inventions (pencil lead nail polish) is really cool and I want to know if its real so i can find out where to buy it!
