Home remidies for blocked noses?

Okay i have seriously had enough now of my blocked nose ive had a cold for about 3 days and when i go bed i get a blocked nose i really cannot sleep when i get one. Last night i fell asleep at about 12 after tryin to get rid of my blocked nose i tried vicks which work abit but not brilliantly eventually it went but i woke up at half one and again i had a blocked nose i got rid of it fell back asleep and woke up at about quarter to 3 then it was even worse evetually once again after a while it went then i went back asleep and again woke up at half 4 and i was really annoyed this time it took ages for my nose to get unblocked eventuallly i fell asleep and woke up at 7 my usual time to get up. When i went to school i was so tired and i looked awful i just couldnt concentrate. So does anyone know any home remidies to get rid of a blocked nose and by the way i have got a tub of vicks next to me any tips with that i dunno i just want to be able to have a decent sleep.
