Will my GPA start over?

i got my A.A degree from a community college and will be attending a 4 year college in the Fall. will my gpa carry over to my 4 year college? Im hoping not because i am planning on going to medical school to become an occupational therapist in the future but im worried that my gpa from community college will hinder that. please help?
