I need help with a college essay!?

So basically this college asked me what I plan to gain from attending their university and what I plan on studying. They also asked where I see myself in 10-20 years. I know this isn't that hard of a question to answer, but I'm not sure how to start it or what to say in order to not sound too cliche or too full of myself. The subject I will be studying their is probably Industrial design. Please help!
